Drs. Stacey Jeronis and Christina Chu Join WHYY to Discuss Physician Wellness in Light of the Ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic

Stacey Jeronis, MD, FACOG, FACS, Associate Chair and Professor of Clinical Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Residency Program Director of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Temple University Hospital, and Christina S. Chu, MD, Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, joined WHYY to discuss physician wellness. In February 2020, Dr. Jeronis became the head of Temple’s Practitioner Wellness Committee and, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, shifted its focus to providing physicians with tools to build resilience. Providence Treatment Center in Media put together a program incorporating meditation, mindfulness and breathing exercises.
