Wadia Mulla, MD, Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University; Director of Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine at Temple University Hospital (TUH); and Medical Director of Labor and Delivery at TUH, participated in an interview on FOX29’s “Good Day Philadelphia” about a recent U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report on pregnancy-related deaths occurring before, during and up to a year after delivery as well as associated disparities. Patient Courtney Hicks, with her 1-year-old daughter, accompanied Dr. Mulla and reflected on her experiences with four high-risk pregnancies.
