Valeriya Poukas, MD, Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, spoke with KYW Newsradio about photosensitive epilepsy following a warning by Disney that some scenes in the new “Star Wars” movie could trigger seizures in those with the condition. Dr. Poukas explained photosensitive epilepsy and how an individual could help if someone has a seizure.
