Serban Constantinescu, MD, PhD, Medical Director of the Kidney-Pancreas Transplant Program, spoke with Healio about data presented at the American Society of Nephrology Annual Meeting’s Kidney Week on the need for careful planning for transplant recipients who wish to become pregnant. Constantinescu is co-investigator of the Transplant Pregnancy Registry International research team, which assesses pregnancy outcomes among transplant recipients.
