Dr. Samantha Pettigrew Joins HCPLive at CHEST on Recent Pulmonary Embolism Clinical Trials and Their Clinical Applications

Samantha Pettigrew, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Thoracic Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, participated in video interviews with HCPLive at CHEST 2026. In Part 1, she reviewed the HI-PEITHO, STORM-PE, and PEERLESS pulmonary embolism clinical trials; in Part 2, she reviewed STRATIFY and PEERLESS II. Pettigrew, who participated in a 15-minute “CHEST Experience” special event where she discussed recent PE trial data and their clinical applications, emphasized the importance of “treating the patient in front of you, not the guidelines.”
