Rajiv Bhuta, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered comment to Medscape on a study that found routine use of artificial intelligence (AI) may lead to a loss of skills among clinicians who perform colonoscopies, thereby affecting patient outcomes.
