Rajesh K. Jain, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was the lead researcher on a study presented at ENDO 2019, the Endocrine Society’s annual meeting. The study found that Caucasian and Hispanic individuals with diabetes have a greater risk of fracture compared to those without diabetes, and also indicated that African-Americans with diabetes have little to no additional fracture risk.
