Raj Kishore, PhD, Professor of Pharmacology and Medicine and Director of the Stem Cell Therapy Program in the Center for Translational Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM), is the senior investigator on a new study published online in the journal Nature Communications. Dr. Kishore and a team of LKSOM researchers described for the first time how a circular RNA known as circFndc3b fills a critical role in tissue repair after heart attack.
