Megan Healy, MD, Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Assistant Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, joined the “Your Radio Doctor” program to discuss emergency medicine. Dr. Healy explained when it might be appropriate to visit an urgent care center versus the emergency department, common symptoms that need emergency attention, and the role of the emergency department team.
