Pronovost, MD, Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered insight to Reuters Health on a study published in JAMA Surgery that examined low-value breast cancer operations continuing to be performed in various facilities across the United States despite recommendations to de-implement these procedures.
