Kristine Lagana, MD, a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at the Temple Lung Center, provided perspective for a HealthCentral article on caregiving for a loved one with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Lagana discussed challenges that face caregivers, including helping manage a loved one’s medication, and the importance of the caregiver monitoring their own health.
