A new study published in Nature Communications could help identify a new way to predict asthma attacks up to five years in advance by looking at specific biomarkers in the blood, though Kartik V. Shenoy, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, emphasized to Flow Space that there are study limitations to consider and the findings still need to be validated.
