Beard, MD, MPH, FACS, Associate Professor of Surgery and Director of Trauma Research at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was a featured speaker at the “Reporting on Violence as a Public Health Issue: An AHCJ Summit” in Chicago on October 27th. The Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) previewed the presentation.
