Jamie Garfield, MD, Associate Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery and Core Clinical Educator at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of Quality and Improvement and Patient Safety, Core Clinical Faculty, Internal Medicine Residency, at Temple University Hospital, offered insight to HealthDay about a new study published in JAMA Network Open which found that among Americans who had recently quit smoking, those who were using e-cigarettes were just as likely to relapse in the next year as non-users were.
