Isam Albaba, MBBS, a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow at the Temple Lung Center, participated in an on-site video interview with HCPLive at the ATS International Conference on his research which found that pre-procedural quantitative CT analysis identified that the interaction between target-lobe size and air trapping of ipsilateral non-target lobes is the strongest correlate of post-bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) pneumothorax, the most frequent complication following BLVR.
