Dr. Gerard Criner Discusses Findings from MATINEE Clinical Trial with Multiple Media Outlets

Gerard J. Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the Temple Lung Center, spoke with HCPLive and ConsultantLive at the ATS conference about new data from the MATINEE clinical trial which found use of mepolizumab as an add-on treatment to optimal triple therapy may help prevent severe exacerbations in patients with COPD. Dr. Criner reviewed findings from a secondary analysis of the phase 3 trial and looked ahead to the potential significance of the drug, if approved.
