A French study published in ERJ Open Research found that women are less likely than men to get a needed lung transplant and spend an average of six weeks longer waiting for one. Fatima Anjum MD, MHA, Associate Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided commentary on the findings to Healio Pulmonology.
