The FDA issued a recall of several cheese products after listeria was found in Pecorino Romano in 20 states, including Pennsylvania. Eric Altneu, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, explained to NBC10 why it can be dangerous to consume contaminated cheese and what symptoms people should pay attention to if they may have consumed it.
