Delana Wardlaw, MD, who practices at Temple Physicians, Inc. at Nicetown, and her identical twin sister Dr. Elana McDonald were featured in the “In Our Words” documentary series sponsored by Walgreens. The series focuses on the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines and aims to encourage vaccination, particularly in communities of color, by sharing stories of trusted voices in the community. The short film about Drs. Wardlaw and McDonald highlights their efforts to provide quality health care to underserved communities and features the two addressing patients’ concerns about the vaccines.
