An MD/Alert video series on Adult Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) featured commentary from David R. Manoff, MD, Chief of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus, and Aaron D. Mishkin, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Dr. Manoff shared how detection by nasopharyngeal swabs alone underestimates RSV-related hospitalization, while Dr. Mishkin discussed the effectiveness of the RSV Prefusion F Protein vaccine over three seasons.
