Salerno, MD, MS, Associate Professor of Thoracic Medicine & Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of Critical Care Services in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit at Temple University Hospital, spoke with Kensington Voice for an article about long COVID and its disproportionate impact on Philadelphia’s Black and Latinx communities. The Temple Lung Center manages a Post-COVID Recovery Clinic in which the center’s pulmonologists provide medical care and referrals to other specialists within Temple Health if necessary.
