Carnell Professor of Medicine, Professor in the Cardiovascular Research Center and Professor in the Center for Translational Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered insight to HealthDay on a study conducted in pigs and published in Science Translational Medicine about a gene therapy aimed at freeing the heart’s capacity for self-repair.
