Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, George S. Peters, MD and Louise C. Peters Chair and Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Surgeon-in-Chief of Temple University Health System, participated in the Penn State Forum Speaker Series, where she provided her perspective as a trauma surgeon who treats victims of gun violence in Philadelphia. Dr. Goldberg highlighted the Fighting Chance, Safe Bet, Turning Point and Cradle to Grave programs, the latter two which she created with Scott Charles, MAPP, Trauma Outreach Coordinator at Temple University Hospital.
