Dr. Ajay Rao Provides Perspective to Everyday Health on New Study Which Found Women and Men Experience Different Additional Health Conditions After a Type 2 Diabetes Diagnosis

Ajay D. Rao, MD, MMSc, FACP, Chief of the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided perspective for an Everyday Health article on a new study published in PLoS Medicine which found women are more likely to develop mental health conditions like anxiety and depression after a type 2 diabetes diagnosis, while men are more likely to face heart, kidney and blood pressure concerns.
