Temple University Hospital is the first hospital in Philadelphia to adopt the Irth app. Irth – “birth without the B” for Bias – is a free app that allows people to leave immediate Yelp-like reviews and ratings of OB-GYNs, pediatricians, nurses and other staff they encounter. It is aimed at improving prenatal and postpartum care for families of color. KYW Newsradio interviewed Gail M.
