Contact Extension between Temple University Health System and Aetna Garners Media Attention

Temple University Health System (TUHS) and Aetna, a CVS Health business, reached an agreement on a multi-year contract extension, effective May 1, 2019. Under the agreement, members of all major Aetna commercial and Medicare plans will be able to continue to receive covered services, at in-network rates, from TUHS hospitals and physicians. TUHS will also now be participating in Aetna’s Medicare Advantra plan. NBC10 and Scoop USA (See Page 12) covered the announcement.
