Chestnut Hill Local Spotlights Nurse Cindy Zimmerman at Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital Appreciation Event

Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital hosted an appreciation event on March 31 to recognize Pennsylvania State Sen. Art Haywood and Pennsylvania State Rep. Tarik Khan for a $400,000 Commonwealth Capital Funding award, which will be used to purchase modern diagnostic equipment to address women’s health. Additionally, Cindy Zimmerman, DNP, RN, Clinical Nurse Manager in the Temple Health – Chestnut Hill Hospital Emergency Department, was recognized after she helped save a driver’s life on the PA Turnpike in December. The Chestnut Hill Local featured Rep. Khan presenting Zimmerman with a citation from the PA House of Representatives.
