Temple Health hosted its 2023 Acres of Diamonds Gala, one of the largest and longest-running charitable events in Philadelphia, on May 18th at Citizens Bank Park. The 2023 Gala marked the event’s 68th year. Temple Community Health Workers were honored with the Diamond Award, the highest honor bestowed by Temple University Hospital that recognizes an individual, department or program for their exceptional social responsibility. Proceeds from the Gala will support investments in vital, lifesaving work across Temple Health’s campuses, in the community and throughout the region. CBS3 and the Philadelphia Tribune provided coverage of the event.
