Aidoc is collaborating with Temple Health to use artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce length of stay and cost of care by optimizing clinical operations. Temple Health will implement Aidoc’s AI Care Platform in its cardiovascular, neurosciences and radiology departments to identify more appropriate patients in need of interventions, streamline communication across critical care teams, prioritize patients with suspected urgent medical conditions and help shorten the length of stay for patients in Temple’s hospitals. A Becker’s Hospital Review article highlighted the collaboration and included comments from Nick J. Barcellona, MBA, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Temple University Health System. Becker’s also featured the collaboration in a roundup of recent AI projects by U.S. health systems.
