Gerald P. Oetzel, MBA, has been named Chief Financial Officer of Temple University Health System and will join Temple in early September. Oetzel has more than 39 years of experience in health care – including 24 years as a CFO. Since 2019, he has served as senior financial executive of La Crosse, Wis.-based Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, and was instrumental in paving the way for a successful merger between the two entities — now a $3 billion, 11-hospital system.
