The Fitch Ratings agency recently upgraded Temple University Health System’s credit rating status two notches to “BBB” from “BB+.” The health system now has investment-grade status for the first time since 2013. A Becker’s Hospital CFO Report roundup of “recent hospital credit rating upgrades” highlighted Temple’s upgraded credit rating as another sign of the health system’s continuing financial improvement.
