Leapfrog has designated Temple University Hospital a Top Teaching Hospital with its 2021 Leapfrog Top Hospital Award for Outstanding Quality and Safety. Less than 7 percent of eligible hospitals earn the Top Hospitals distinction: More than 2,200 hospitals nationwide were considered for the award and only 149 hospitals – including 72 teaching hospitals – were selected.
