6ABC interviewed Joe Platt, who received a double lung transplant at Temple University Hospital through the Gift of Life Program, for its “Visions” segment. Mr. Platt is a New Jersey native and Vietnam Veteran who experienced shortness of breath and was then diagnosed with an incurable lung disease, leading to his double lung transplant eight years ago.
