6ABC shared the story of patient Frank LaVerde, who was recently welcomed home with a drive-by parade after receiving a lung transplant at Temple University Hospital. He had interstitial lung disease and also ended up contracting COVID-19 last fall. The 6ABC segment also featured TUH nurse Ilene Storck.
