The NICU at Temple Women & Families now offers the AngelEye Camera System, giving parents access to a secure, 24-hour live video feed of their babies. The system also includes HIPAA-compliant messaging that enables nurses to share updates through any digital device. The cameras were installed in each of the NICU’s 41 isolettes this summer thanks to a philanthropic gift from The Superhero Project. 6abc spoke with Sharon Kurfuerst, EdD, OTR/L, FACHE, Executive Director of Temple Women & Families Hospital, and patient Ayana Carter about the new technology.
