March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and Temple Health, Fox Chase Cancer Center and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University hosted an event on March 19 at Temple University Hospital-Main Campus that included a guided, interactive walk through a giant inflatable colon. 6abc and NBC10 highlighted the event where providers also offered free FIT (fecal immunochemical) test kits used to detect colorectal cancer and precancerous polyps in the colon.
