For Individuals Who Are Pre-Diabetic
The Diabetes Prevention Program is intended for individuals who are pre-diabetic. The program, offering over 25 sessions, is held in a classroom setting by a trained lifestyle coach.
The lifestyle coach will facilitate a small group of participants in learning about:
- Healthy eating habits
- Physical activity
- Other behavior changes
The year-long program consists of 16 weekly sessions for the first 6 months followed by 2 sessions per month in the second 6 months.
