Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) Symptoms

In its early stages, PAH does not always produce symptoms. As the condition gets worse, symptoms can include:

Shortness of breath — at first during exercise, and eventually while at rest
Tiredness
Fainting or near fainting with exertion
Pain or pressure in the chest with exertion
Swelling in legs, ankles and/or abdomen
Blue tint to the skin and/or lips
Heart palpitations
Rapid pulse
