Comprehensive HIV Program Research Interests and Clinical Trials

The Temple Comprehensive HIV Program has been involved in research trials and activities since 1990. We participated in some of the early NIH-sponsored trials to prevent mother-to-child transmission, community based research, and as a clinical trial site within the NIAID/Division of AIDS.

Since 1998, we have been part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Cerner HIV Outpatient Study (HOPS), a dynamic observational database that tracks clinical trends and outcomes in multiple centers across the United States.
