Preparing for Your Treatment at Temple Health

Temple Health is a proud member of Philadelphia International Medicine (PIM), an organization that connects patients from around the world with the Philadelphia region’s leading academic medical centers.

To help international patients navigate the American healthcare system, Temple works with PIM to provide the support and resources needed for a positive experience by coordinating everything from scheduling appointments and transferring medical records, to arranging hotel accommodations and securing visas.

Medical interpretation services for international patients who require language assistance are offered through Temple Health’s Linguistic and Cultural Services Department. At all times, care is delivered in a respectful, culturally sensitive environment.

Medical Interpreter Services

Temple Health provides interpreter services for patients who do not speak English. Ensuring that patients receive care in their preferred language helps us to deliver the best possible outcomes for their medical care.

All linguistic services at Temple Health are provided by an approved third party that has been reviewed and vetted by our Linguistic and Cultural Services Department at no additional cost to the patient. PIM and Temple Health will work together to secure medical interpreters for your inpatient stay and outpatient appointments.
