I had never met Dr. Burroughs before but I found him to be very caring and and knowledgeble. I liked him very much am sure he is a veryGood Doctor
Dr. Burrows not only saw me as a person, but answered all the questions my wife and I had before we even asked. As a physician myself, I would recommend him to anyone requiring oncological thoracic surgery. Generally, my wife, who is a cancer survivor treated at Fox Chase, and I have found Fox Chase to be a caring place. We welcome the atmosphere provided there, which helps to make potentially life-threatening problems easier to cope with.
Dr. Burroughs and the entire staff was wonderful. They listened intently. They helped us understand the nature of the illness and explained all appropriate options.
We waited 2 hours to see Dr Burrows. He is extremely knowledgeable & kind even though I'm not a candidate for his surgery. [...]
Dr. Burrows took the time to explain my treatment options and answer all my questions. I knew I was in good hands and felt reassured after the visit.
