Patient Comments
Dr. Kilfoil was fantastic. This was an initial appointment based on a referral I received for a positive ANA, and because I am a musician, the idea of an inflammatory autoimmune condition felt overwhelming. Dr. Kilfoil explained the results well, answered my questions, and helped me feel better about the situation. Given our conversation he helped me leave the office feeling confident that there was no cause for immediate concern, while also ordering additional tests to gain better insight and monitor the situation. Thus, I left feeling reassured about the fact that it was possible I was fine but that he was committed to making sure of that fact rather than dismissing my initial test result. Since then, I have received some of my blood work results and there were some abnormalities that make me glad he ordered them. I am awaiting a call to go over the results, but based on my initial appointment, I feel confident and grateful that Dr. Kilfoil is my rheumatologist, because I get the impression that I can trust him to help me develop a care plan that will maximize the chances that I can live a fulfilling life whatever the results mean, and that he will be open and communicative throughout the process and take my concerns into consideration. Although I would prefer not to need a rheumatologist, because it seems that I do, I am glad that it is Dr. Kilfoil.
