About Me

Patricia J. Mattingly, M.D. is a a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. In addition to providing routine gynecologic care, she specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic masses and pelvic pain.

Dr. Mattingly completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Her fellowship training has provided her with expertise in advanced gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopy, robotics, hysteroscopy, vaginal and complex open surgical techniques. Dr. Mattingly favors a minimally invasive approach for her patients, understanding that this approach leads to faster recovery, less pain, shorter hospital stay, improved cosmetics and greater patient satisfaction. She is able to offer minimally invasive myomectomy, hysterectomy for large pathology and resection of advanced endometriosis, amongst other minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries.
