Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Kuo is a high-volume endocrine surgeon, specializing in surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. Dr. Kuo regularly treats benign and malignant conditions including Graves’ disease, complex thyroid cancer, primary hyperparathyroidism, and hyperfunctioning adrenal masses. Dr. Kuo has expertise in minimally invasive surgery and is one of only two surgeons in the Philadelphia region to perform retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy.
Dr. Kuo treats every patient like a family member, advocating for their care and working towards the best possible outcome. The decision-making process for endocrine tumors can be complex, and Dr. Kuo ensures that every patient has a smooth experience from diagnosis to surgery and postoperative care and beyond.
Very good.
I was nerves because this was a surgery consult the dr. made me feel better & answered all my questions.
An outstanding medical experience. Everything was perfect!
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kuo. She's kind and explains everything to me in a way that is not over my head. She explained what my condition is and we discussed the next steps in the process. I trust her
Dr Kuo is an amazing doctor she saved me from enduring years of symptoms from my parathyroid disease.
I visited the surgery dept./Dr. Kuo twice. Both times I was treated with kindness and respect by everyone I came in contact with.
Surprised & happy about the whole experience.
Very good doctor!
I loved treating Dr. Lindsay K. very kind and showed empathy, thank you.
I had trouble reaching Dr. Kuo all the phone # numbers the dr. gave me did not go through to her. She was very annoyed by that and said she will see what happen.
