Mayra suffered a severe rupture of the rotator cuff in her right shoulder as well as a traumatic nerve injury. She was referred to Eric Kropf, MD, Chair of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine at Temple, who performed surgery to repair her rotator cuff.
