Larry R. The ICON Award is given annually to an individual or organization that demonstrates unparalleled leadership and tenacious dedication in making a positive impact in the greater Philadelphia area community.

The Germination Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to mentor and cultivate the best and brightest students from among Philadelphia high schools. The Fellows are selected as 10th graders and inducted at the annual Draft Day Gala into a lifelong fellowship of learning, collaboration, and service for the benefit of Philadelphia and the surrounding region.

"I am honored to accept this recognition on behalf of Temple Health," says Dr. Kaiser. "The Germination Project strikes a powerful chord with institutions like Temple who share a commitment to serving our community. I look forward to seeing how the Germination Project’s ambitious initiatives help grow and strengthen the talents of these young leaders, who no doubt will make their presence felt in the city of Philadelphia for years to come."
