TUH-Jeanes Campus also earned a Safety Grade of ‘A’ for the third time in a row.

Temple University Hospital (TUH) – Main Campus has earned its 9th Safety Grade ‘A’ from Leapfrog since 2020, in the Spring 2025 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade Report. TUH-Jeanes Campus also earned a Safety Grade of ‘A’ for the third time in a row.

This places TUH-Main Campus and TUH-Jeanes Campus in the top 32 percent of hospitals nationwide and among only 56 hospitals in Pennsylvania to achieve this honor.

“Temple University Hospital – Main Campus and Jeanes Campus have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to safety,” said Abhi Rastogi, MBA, MIS, President and CEO of Temple University Hospital and Executive Vice President of Temple Health. “Employees at both hospitals dedicate their time, day in and day out, to providing exceptional, high-quality care to our patients and community. These ‘A’ Grades are a testament to the hard work of each and every team member.”

Leapfrog is a quality watchdog organization which uses nationally recognized safety metrics for its analysis. Achieving a Safety Grade of ‘A’ certifies an institution’s effectiveness to protect patients from infections, prevent errors, deliver dependable care, and achieve high standards of patient safety.

Leapfrog urges consumers to consider this kind of high performance when choosing their hospital. Their Safety Grade is the gold standard measure of patient safety, cited in MSNBC, the New York Times, and AARP The Magazine.
