Temple University Hospital-Jeanes Campus has earned the NCDR Chest Pain – MI Registry Gold Performance Achievement Award for 2022 from the American College of Cardiology. TUH-Jeanes Campus also earned the recognition in 2021.

“This award is a recognition of Jeanes Campus’ commitment to and success in attaining the highest level of care for heart attack patients,” said Abhinav Rastogi, MBA, MIS, President and CEO of Temple University Hospital and Executive Vice President of Temple Health. “It also means that once again, we’ve met the national treatment standards outlined by the clinical guidelines and recommendations of the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association.”

To receive the Chest Pain – MI Registry Gold Performance Achievement Award, TUH-Jeanes Campus had to demonstrate sustained achievement in the Chest Pain – MI Registry for two consecutive years and perform at the top level for specific performance measures.

“The American College of Cardiology’s decision to award this honor to Jeanes Campus for the second year in a row is an acknowledgement that we’re on the forefront of cutting-edge treatments, and that our work is continually improving the quality, safety, and outcomes of care for patients with coronary artery disease,” said Marc P. Hurowitz, DO, MBA, FAAFP, Executive Director of TUH-Jeanes Campus and CEO of Temple Physicians Inc. “We’re so proud of our clinical teams and physicians, and their commitment to producing the best outcomes for our patients.”
