Temple Health and Keystone First Reach Contract Agreement

View All News

Temple Health and Keystone First Family Health Plans jointly announced today that they have reached agreement on a new 2-year contract, successfully concluding months of negotiations. The previous 2-year contract was set to expire on July 31.

“This new contract ensures minimally sustainable reimbursement which takes into account the significant cost increases that all healthcare providers bear for providing the high-quality care and comprehensive services that patients and communities expect and deserve,” said Michael A. Young, MHA, FACHE, President and CEO of Temple Health.

“For nearly a quarter of a century, Keystone First and Temple Health have worked together to ensure equitable, accessible, and quality care for families in the greater Philadelphia region,” Keystone First Market President Joanne McFall said. “We are pleased that Temple Health will remain in our robust network of providers and continue our shared commitment to helping our members achieve their health and wellness goals.”

As before, there is no disruption to patient care and Temple Health hospitals and physicians remain in-network for all Keystone First patients.

“Temple Health has a long history of commitment to serving our community, especially its most vulnerable residents, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients,” added Young.
