We’re proud to announce that Carol Von Hofen, RN and Sharon Towson are the recipients of the April 2025 Temple Faculty Physician C.A.R.E.S (Category Exemplified in Action: Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, Excellence, and Service) Award, which honors the outstanding contributions of our clinical and administrative staff.
Sharon is a Clerk V in the Department of Ophthalmology, and Carol is a Registered Nurse in the Department of Neurology. Both were nominated by their peers and endorsed by TFP leadership for their extraordinary work and commitment to excellence. She is on the phone daily with insurance companies, medical suppliers, and pharmaceutical companies to help patients obtain the essential items they need. She provides respectful and compassionate care for patients with a challenging chronic condition.”
